Board Recruitment

Our Promise: Protect children and strengthen family life in the Catholic Community

The Catholic Children’s Aid Foundation (CCAF) is a not-for-profit charity whose primary goal is to support, through fund raising and program grants, the non-governmental-provided needs of the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CCAS).

These grants include many traditional programs of a transactional nature, including Emergency Needs Funding, Christmas Sharing, Sacramental Funding, administration of external grants and, recently, the provision of large, multi-year, transformative initiatives designed to promote the disruption of traditionally accepted truths in the child welfare space.

Our Board

Board members are actively involved in the Foundation’s governance and are expected to attend regular board meetings and participate in additional initiatives as required.

The Board requires Catholic candidates with a variety of skills and experiences, who live or work in Toronto. We are seeking candidates with a broad array of skills particularly on fundraising and those with charitable foundation experience.

The Foundation serves an ethno-racial and gender-diverse Catholic community and is committed to fostering an environment of equity, inclusion and accessibility that is reflective of the community served.
